《家書II：暗夜征途》是藝術家兼企業家邵永添在2020年9月至2023年5月期間的紀實作品。這段時間經歷了新冠疫情及國際戰爭，反映了21世紀的艱難時刻。書中真實展現邵永添面對外部挑戰，並堅持追尋光明的毅力與決心。
全書共分五個章節，收錄181篇書信，內容涵蓋「面對未知」、「韌性撐持」、「守得雲開」、「破繭而出」、「志在十方」，記錄了他在險惡環境下勇敢前行的歷程。
封面設計採用邵永添的創作作品《海中光》，以“一道光”為靈感，巧妙地將畫作融入一道光束的形狀之中。背景色採用深海藍，讓作品的鮮明紋理與色彩得以充分展現，象徵在艱困黑暗中，希冀的曙光引領著團隊勇往直前。
在印刷方面，特別突出作品的肌理觸感，採用亮膜效果，使光束的三角形狀呈現凹凸感，增添封面的層次與藝術感。整體設計不僅富有視覺張力，還傳遞了希望和勇氣的力量。
"Letter to Home II: Journey Through the Dark Night" is a documentary work by artist and entrepreneur Shao Yongtian, created between September 2020 and May 2023. During this period, he experienced the COVID-19 pandemic and international conflicts, reflecting the difficult times of the 21st century. The book authentically portrays Shao Yongtian's perseverance and determination in the face of external challenges while steadfastly pursuing the light of hope.
The book is divided into five chapters, featuring 181 letters that encompass themes such as "Facing the Unknown," "Resilience Sustained," "Waiting for the Clouds to Part," "Breaking Out of the Cocoon," and "Aspiring in All Directions," documenting his courageous journey in treacherous environments.
The cover design incorporates Shao Yongtian's artwork "Light in the Sea," inspired by "A Beam of Light," cleverly integrating the painting into the shape of a light beam. The background color is deep sea blue, allowing the vivid textures and colors of the work to shine, symbolizing how the glimmer of hope guides the team forward through dark difficulties.
In terms of printing, special emphasis was placed on the tactile quality of the work, using a glossy laminate finish to create a three-dimensional effect of the triangular light beam, enhancing the cover's depth and artistic feel. The overall design not only possesses visual tension but also conveys a powerful message of hope and courage.
