金馬美術館｜天空之眼. 展覽主視覺
很榮幸受邀參與此次展覽的主視覺設計。在與金馬團隊的討論中，團隊耐心且詳細地向我解說了藝術家的故事背景、作品及靈感，讓我對本次展覽的內容及藝術家JIRO有了深刻的了解。我仔細閱讀了金馬與藝術家的訪談內容，特別是JIRO提到的那句話：“Each lens is metaphorically seen as a galaxy”，讓我腦中瞬間浮現出一幅畫面，這也成為此次主視覺的畫面元素。
本次主題圍繞著“鏡頭”，我將標題文字拆開並隨機散落，如同宇宙中的繁星。每個字體均帶有一個圓形“鏡片”，象徵著獨立的小宇宙，綻放在浩瀚的空間中。而“鏡片”中的文字則進行了扭曲處理的折色效果，模擬透過鏡片看出去的世界。我認為這樣的佈局與JIRO想要傳達的意境非常契合，同時也呼應了以“鏡頭”作為創作主題的展覽內容。
I am honored to have been invited to design the key visual for this exhibition- Celestial Eyes. During discussions with the Alien Art team, they patiently and thoroughly explained the artist's background, works, and inspirations, allowing me to gain a deep understanding of both the exhibition and the artist, JIRO. As I carefully read through the interviews of JIRO, one particular quote stood out to me: “Each lens is metaphorically seen as a galaxy.” This phrase instantly conjured an image in my mind, which became the foundation of the key visual elements.
The exhibition revolves around the theme of "lenses." To reflect this, I deconstructed the title text and scattered it randomly, resembling the stars in the vast universe. Each character is embedded with a circular "lens," symbolizing an independent microcosm blooming within an infinite space. The text within these "lenses" is distorted with a refractive color effect, simulating the way the world appears through a lens. I believe this composition aligns closely with JIRO’s artistic vision while also reinforcing the exhibition’s core theme centered around the lens as a creative medium.
